You all know how much I absolutely love memory kee

You all know how much I absolutely love memory keeping and sentimental home decor, so when I saw @mapiful’s new Text Art style prints I knew it would be *perfect* for remembering Stella’s first birthday!

I just love how subtle the design is, while still being able to be a larger piece of art. I wouldn’t necessarily print a full photo this size for my wall, but the Text Art design adds such a nice subtly artistic twist to the photo that I just love!

Stella’s first birthday was such a special celebration, as it was one of the few times in 2020 that we were able to be with friends and family, even if still socially distant. So having a daily reminder of being with those we love, while we’re waiting for the craziness in the world to settle down, has been everything 💕 Not to mention Stella just looked unbelievably adorable in her glitter crown and tutu dress!

For the text of the photo, we decided to go with the words to Twinkle Twinkle little star. If you didn’t know, Stella means Star, and this is the song Miles & I sing to her every night before bed🌟

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Eve! Ours was hectic and full of so much fun trying to cram in all the last minute prep and celebration while juggling a 14 month old🤪

I am absolutely *loving* creating all the holiday magic for Stella, even if she won’t quite understand or remember it. I certainly will! This year we purchased our copy of The Night Before Christmas that we will read to Stella and all our future kiddos while snuggled together in our Christmas jammies before bed on Christmas Eve each year. And just thinking about all the memories this book will foster makes me tear up a bit💕

When I first began using essential oils, I was super concerned with making sure they were safe to use around my family. I was pregnant with my first little babe, and had become very focused on creating a clean and non-toxic environment for her.

Talking to mamas who had been using oils around their families and while pregnant for years helped tremendously, and I saw this book recommended over and over again. Gentle Babies is full of advise and info on safely using essential oils around kiddos and while pregnant, and it has helped me feel so at ease knowing what I’m doing is safe.

While most *quality* oils (please please make sure you’re using quality oils) are safe to use around kiddos, there are a few (like Wintergreen) that should be avoided. There are safety guidelines to follow like dilution to use around little ones. So again having a guide on these rules helped put my mama heart at ease, and I would definitely recommend it to any mamas interested in an oily pregnancy, or using oils around or on their babies/kiddos!
