Hey there, I’m Merrit, the girl behind this little blog! So you’d like to know a little more about me, huh? Well let’s start with the basics. I am in my mid 20s and graduated from college with a degree in Psychology. It didn’t take me long to realize that I didn’t actually want a career in that field, and I was actually passionate about blogging and entrepreneurship.
Back then, I was writing a blog called Label Me Organized, which has since grown and expanded to become the blog you see now. I love what I do now, and can’t imagine spending my life doing anything else. I wake up everyday excited to work, to create, to share my life with you! I am truly blessed, and words cannot describe how grateful I am that I am on this journey.
I live with my beautiful fiancee, Melissa (who is such a sport helping me out with my never ending projects) and our 5 lbs. Pomeranian, Dakota (who may or may not be the most spoiled puppy ever… and the cutest 😉 ). I’m a bit of a type-A, and Melissa is a bit of a goof-ball, so we balance each other out. She helps me relax when I can’t quite get a project the way I want it, and makes sure I leave plenty of time for goofing around every so often. You can read all about our engagement here!
Dakota is just the happiest little munchkin I have ever met, and she always loves
licking meeting new people. Dakota brings endless entertainment to our little family, and we could literally spend hours just watching her be her crazy self and cracking up. These two girls bring happiness and love to my life, and I can’t imagine life without either one of them.
I originally started my blog after reading many, many other DIY and organization blogs, and decided to get in on the action and start my own. And I love sharing what I love with others, and hopefully inspiring them in return. I hope this blog will help me meet other people who are working to build their perfect life, and figuring out exactly what that means to them.
So there’s a little bit about me! Have a peek around and find some inspiration for yourself! I always love hearing from readers, so please feel free to leave a comment or send an email and introduce yourself!! If you’d like to learn more about the blog, you can read all about it here.
