It’s my favorite time of the month! As always I am super excited about what came in my Play! by Sephora box this month and can’t wait to start playing with the products. I feel like I say this every month but I seriously can’t get over the amazing samples you get for only $10 a month. Mind blown. Every single month. 🙂
I am starting to have quite the little collection of the bags that the subscription now comes in. This month’s was again much cuter than last month’s plain bag, which I was happy about. I still need to decide on a use for them though, any ideas? I was thinking I may use them for traveling/packing. But I’d love to hear your suggestions, or what you guys may be using your Play! by Sephora bags for.

Products in This Box
1. First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser
While I’m currently loving my skin care routine, and am not in the market for a new cleanser, I have heard good things about this cleanser. So I think I’m going to hang on to it and give it a try once I run out of my current morning cleanser.
2. Ouai Haircare Wave Spray
I am definitely not one to spend a bunch of time styling my hair. I pretty much brush it out of the shower and that’s it. This spray claims it will give you ‘effortlessly chic, undone hair’, so if it lives up to it’s name I could totally see using this as a simple styling product. I’m hoping it gives a sort of tousled, beachy waves look, so we’ll see!
3. Benefit Dew the Hoola
While I thought it was a bit odd to get two liquid bronzing type products in a row, I am excited to give this liquid bronzer a try. Unlike the BareMinerals bronzer tint in last month’s box, this one did not stain the skin, and will wash off easily at the end of the day. The one downside I noticed with this product was the pump, which dispensed way more product that you would ever reasonable need in a single session.
4. Nest Fragrances Citrine
I think this may be my favorite scent I’ve received in a Play! box so far. It is a much softer scent, and isn’t as overpowering as some of the others have been, which I like. It was a very clean scent, with hints of citrus and flowers.
5. Blotterazzi by BeautyBlender
I’ve actually purchased this product before, and while I had high hopes, I was unfortunately underwhelmed. The idea of a reusable blotting sponge just seems genius to me, but when I tried it out, I found it removed little to no excess oil from my skin. So I’m much more excited about the liquid BlenderCleanser sample that came with the Blotterazzi than the actual tool itself.
6. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer
This is the winning product for me in this month’s box, the one I’m most excited to try out. I’ve heard tons of YouTubers rave about this primer, and I’m excited to test it out myself. I’m most excited for the pore filling claims, as I have larger pores in certain areas of my face. So this will be fun to play with!
And that finishes things up! As always let me know your thoughts on these products. Have you tried them? Did you love them?
