Hi everyone!! Today I have my very first plan with me to share with you guys! I had so much fun making this video, and I hope you’ll love getting a look at how I regularly plan out my weeks in my Life Planner!
It was definitely a different experience trying to plan while film it. It was definitely a little tricky getting stickers on straight while planning from behind a tripod haha but I think I did ok :). I also tried to keep the video pretty concise and quick, to include my entire process while speeding through parts like just laying stickers down. I’d love to hear what you guys think of this video and how I did things, so I can change things for next time if need be.

For this week’s layout I mostly used sheets from my brand new Planner Kits (coming to the Merrit Elizabeth Shop in November!). I picked three colors (pink, yellow and mint), and went with a pastel theme; I will not accept that it’s almost winter! Here’s a full list of the products used in my layout:
- Planner Kits (Releasing November 22nd)
- Ombre Boxes (Releasing November 1st)
- Weekend Banner
- Header Bars
- Heart Checklist Banners (Releasing November 1st)
- Border Half Boxes
- Border Banners & Shapes (Releasing November 15th)
- Spring Fling Theme (Releasing November 8th)
- Pilot Juice Pens (in 0.5mm Blue Black)
I’m super excited to finally have shared all sorts of sneak peaks for some of the exciting things coming to the shop in November! I have been working on the Planner Kits and the new Spring Fling theme for so long now, so I’m just thrilled to finally be able to start sharing them!
I have been loving using the new Habit Tracker stickers at the bottom of each day to track routines I’m trying to build or making sure I complete all my daily tasks.
I am just absolutely in love with this mix of colors, and I know they will definitely be making more appearances in my layouts in the future! I especially love the sweetness and simplicity of the bordered half boxes, banners and shapes. They add just the right amount of color, without being overwhelming.
One of my favorite things to do recently is layering a banner over a shape to really make a plan pop out. I have also been letting the tail of the banner overflow a little out of the daily box, and I’ve really be loving how that looks.
This week I used border half boxes to include Melissa’s schedule in my planner. I also used new half sized heart checklist banners to record our dinners and TV shows for each day.
I also tested out a new design for the weekend banner with this layout. Usually my banners are all one color, but I wanted to test out alternating banner colors, and I’m thinking about adding them to the shop in the Sherbert Swirl theme. Let me know what you guys think, do you like these swirled banners? Because I think I’m kind of in love!
Overall I am super pleased with how this week turned out! I’ve been going through a little planner un-peace recently with my layout design, but I think I’ve finally settled into a groove again with my planning routine, so yay!
I hope you guys really liked my very first Plan With Me! I was thinking about doing one maybe once a month? What do you think, would these be something you’d like to see more of? Let me know!
