Hi loves! I am so super excited to share today’s post with you all! I feel like I say that a lot, but I truly have been wanting to write this post for at least over a year now, so this one has been a long time coming. You guys always seem to love my desk when I’ve shared it with you in the past, and so I hope you’re as excited as I am to take a little tour through how I set up and organize my desk!
I am kind of glad it took me this long to get a desk tour put together for you guys though. Now that I have my YouTube channel going, not only can I give you a walk through of my desk in this post, I also have a video walk through for you guys! So if you really want to get the grand tour of my workspace, make sure to watch the corresponding video for this post!

I also snapped a few pictures of my desk to show you guys. Since I work from home, I wanted make sure my desk was a place I felt inspired and motivated to create in. So I made sure to put a lot of effort into turning this into my happy place. My desk is truly one of my favorite places in my home, and I love spending time here, working on posts or my planner or crafty projects.
I like keeping a clear workspace, I have found it really helps keep my mind feeling uncluttered and reduces my stress levels. But there are also a few things I like to keep out and handy so I can easily grab them when I need. So I do keep a few things organized and stored at the back of my desk top.
I store a bunch of necessities in a collection of cups, buckets and containers off to the back left corner. These hold things like pens, paperclips, page flags and chargers. I also have a nice white organizer caddy in the middle, which holds some more things I like to keep at hand. This caddy holds more pens and pencils (although these ones are more for decorative purposes than functional) as well as my huge post-it stash. In addition, I added a few decorative elements, like my favorite ‘kiss your dog daily’ sign, and my Anthropology ‘M’ mug.
My desk is from the Expedit (now called Kallax) line at IKEA, and so the entire left side of my desk is a 4×4 Expedit cube system. I love having all this storage space, and I love how easily accessible it keeps all my stuff. The one drawback is needing to keep these shelves styled and clutter free, so things don’t start looking crazy and stressful. I’m going to give a quick run down of what’s in each shelf, but I recommend watching the video if you want a more in depth look at what I keep in each cube.
