Hi everyone! Today I’m excited to show you another peak into my blog planner. I’ve previously shared posts that show a more in depth look at how I decorate my planner pages, and I thought it’d be fun to share my monthly view of July in my blog planner! I was particularly pleased with how this layout turned out, and I hope you guys like it just as much as I do!
This was originally going to be one of the posts I shared while I was away on the cruise, but with how crazy things got I was never able to post it. So I photographed this spread before I left, which is why the pages are mostly blank except for my outlined decoration. Throughout this post I’ll walk you through my thoughts for each element of my layout, and explain more how I use and fill in my monthly pages in my blog planner!

So the very first thing I did when setting up my monthly pages was decide on a color scheme. I chose the colors mint, yellow and peach, which is a combination I’ve never used much before but absolutely fell in love with after these pages!
After I knew which colors I would use, I added the title to my pages. To make this cute little title, I stamped the letters of July onto alternating mint and lemon dew drops. I used Studio L2E Wu Wu Alphabet Set and VersaFine in Onyx Black for stamping the letters. I then slightly overlapped the stickers as I placed them onto the page, to get a sort of bubble chain effect, which I think is super cute!
Another basic step I always get out of the way first is numbering my days. Since these monthly planner pages are perpetual, they come undated. So I used mini squares in the corner of each day square to write down the dates of the month.
After titling and dating my planner pages, the first thing I always do when planning a full month is mark down larger events. For this month, I wanted to indicate which dates I would be away on the cruise, to help plan and prepare the blog for while I was away. I used washi tape to cover all the dates I would be away so I could easily see when I was gone, and which posts were scheduled to go live while I was away.
I also celebrated my third blogiversary on July 13th, and I wanted to decorate that day just a bit in my planner to mark the occasion. I used various layers of single banner stickers and a border header bar to make a decorative marker, and I really love how it turned out!
Next I had to record any deadlines and due dates I had in the upcoming month, most of which were for the Studio L2E Creative Team. I used mini dots to make little checkboxes on the days I had projects or posts due or scheduled. As the month went on and I completed those tasks, I simply put a little checkmark in my mini dot for that task.
Finally, I stamped boxes in VersaFine Persimmon around the whole month on days I was planning to publish blog posts. As the month goes on and I do publish a blog post, I will write in the title in the box. This helps give me an overview of when I want to publish posts, and how often I am actually publishing posts as I go through the month.
And that finishes up my monthly planner pages in my blog planner! I really liked how these pages turned out, and I’m so happy I got to share them with you guys! Let me know what you thought of my layout in the comments below, I always love hearing what you guys think 🙂
